AppSecCon 2022 is the premier AppSec conference coming to you, virtually, on May 18 and 19th, 2022. The conference is organized by the Purple Book Community, is free and open for registration now! Join security leaders and experts on all your favorite AppSec topics.

Security at the Speed of DevSecOps

Securing software in a world moving at the speed of DevOps is a monumental challenge, but when experienced security leaders and practitioners share their insights, attendees gain new perspectives on problem-solving, accelerate their current practice, and help to kick start their fledgling AppSec program. Wherever you are in your AppSec journey, AppSecCon has something for you.

At AppSecCon we have a distinguished set of presenters and panelists who are security leaders from companies such Estée Lauder, TransUnion, Fidelity Investments, Discover, IBM, Schneider Electric, and ChargePoint. Joined by our team at ArmorCode.

The Program at a Glance

To give you an idea of the breadth of the program we’ve put together, take a look at what we’re covering at AppSecCon:

  • Accelerate your AppSecOps Program: Whether your organization is starting its AppSecOps program or you are already well under way, there are panels and sessions that cover the basics and best practices. If you need help building a business case for AppSecOps or if you are considering build versus buy for tools, we have the session for you. We also have you covered if you want to know how your organization stacks up with our session on the current state of AppSecOps practice.
  • Security Culture and Improving your Organization’s Security Posture: We are firm believers in how important people are to solving security problems. Changing your corporate culture and security posture isn’t easy. Join us for sessions on championing security and honing your response to new security incidents and the next black swan event. We’re also covering how security has become an essential consideration in mergers and acquisitions and in governance, risk and compliance. Building your security team is critical, so join us for our session on hiring security professionals.
  • Help Build The AppSec Community: One of our key goals with AppSecCon is to help build the AppSec community. We’re offering networking opportunities with your peers and security leaders and experts. You’ll also learn about the Purple Book security community and how you can help expand the community.

Hopefully this has got you excited for AppSecCon! Registration is free and open now. See you in May!
